This is our third stay at Castlewood and we were delighted that the high standards of the lodges and cleanliness have been maintained.
Beautiful lodges with fabulous views, watching the deer running in the morning was a definite bonus. No shops on the door step but Morrison's and Tesco is just a short drive away, very thoughtful welcome pack, so no need to rush to the shops. Peaceful, tranquil and will definitely be returning.
Ok stayed here over the Christmas period and what a fantastic time we had. Stayed in lodge 17 overlooking the field with the reindeers in (great for Christmas atmosphere). The lodge itself was clean and well equipped, was even able to cook a full 3 course Christmas dinner and great having a dishwasher. The hot tub was great in the evening especially Boxing Day when we had snow. Well worth a visit. Thank you Castlewood leisure for making our Christmas so special. Will definitely be making the 8 hour drive again
